SOMETHING TO BE THANKFUL FOR!

The Atascadero Unified School District has "Something To Be Thankful For"... Our AMAZING Staff. While the last few years have been challenging, our devoted staff continue to aim for excellence in all they do. Dorthy Wagster, our 2020-2021 Teacher of the Year, went from "Lone wolf to shepherd" as she supported 'new' ACE Academy Elementary staff. Brittaney Miller, and our 2020-2021 Classified Employee of the Year, is a "Super supporter for secretaries" for all things AERIES. Please take a moment to thank all the AUSD staff all those colleagues around you who add to AUSD's "Talent and Teamwork"!

HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED BEING A FOSTER PARENT?

San Luis Obispo County needs more resource parents — the preferred term for foster parents — people who are willing to temporarily care for and shelter children. The attached video dispels some of the myths about foster care.  If you have ever thought of becoming a foster parent, visit SLOFosterCare.com or call (805) 781-1705.

This program was created to promote the holiday spirit by giving away refurbished bicycles and new helmets to children in need in San Luis Obispo County.
