CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR GREYHOUNDS THAT EARNED AN ACADEMIC LETTER

Atascadero High School celebrated over 150 Juniors and Seniors who earned an Academic Letter on Wednesday evening.  Students are receiving an Academic Letter because they have satisfied the following criteria:

  1. As a Junior or Senior Achieved a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.75 or greater, based on an expanded G.P.A.
  2. Passed all classes last semester

Students have three opportunities to earn this honor; fall and spring semesters junior year and fall of senior year. The awards are a varsity letter with a lamp of learning emblem, an honor pin and finally a chevron. We are so proud of these students who have stayed the course during such challenging times. Congrats Greyhounds!

BENGAL BONANZA FUN!

PARENTS AS PARTNERS

The San Luis Obispo SELPA Community Advisory Committee in partnership with Parents Helping Parents is hosting a free virtual parent training presented by Carlo Rossi, Independent Child Advocate.

Parents as Partners: Developing a Student Profile for the IEP Process

March 9th 5:00-7:00 pm

In this two hour training, parents will develop a "student profile" that they can share with their IEP team. This invaluable tool supports collaborative and cooperative working relationships between parents and school staff. For older students, we emphasize the need for the student to develop his/her own report.

Spanish interpretation is available for parents.
